We took a walk, Bree rode her bike, Jarrett ran. Ate smores, played some more. Bathed the kids got them to bed. Other than the fact that cell service is patchy here and my bed leans downhill we are good. I may end up in the floor tonight!

We made it. The kids played in the dirt.

A little get away
Tomorrow afternoon we head out to go camping with my in-laws. They camp in luxury compared to what I am used too. They have a camper with central air! I'm used to camping in tents. They make fun of me b/c I asked that they find a campsite near the public campground restroom and showers! Using the restroom or showering in a small camper with 5 other people inside doesn't work well for me. I grew up using the campground facilities and I lived :)
Anyway, Sawyer will be staying with Non for the weekend. I've NEVER left any of my babies for more than a night, unless I was in the hospital having a baby! I know he will be in good hands and camping in the heat with an almost 6 month old even with a camper wouldn't be to much fun for him or me!
I will be blogging from my iPhone while I'm there. Well I've been blogging from it a lot lately. I found an app that makes it so easy. If you blog and have an iPhone check out the blogpress app. You'll love it!

Rodeo Parade
Saturday was the Rodeo Parade. Man was it HOT! We had lot's of fun and the kids got tons of candy! We will for sure go next year!
Caleb and Michelle met up with us to watch. Chad had to work.
These trucks were Bree's favorite part! The gray one climbed the tire of the red one right in front of us. I made Bree move back because I thought it was going to flip over!
There were probably 5 sets of Shriners there: little yellow cars, motorcycles, red cars, and a couple others.
And a RODEO parade would not be complete without longhorns trotting down mainstreet!

Potty Training
***UPDATE: after I posted this Jare peed in my floor 3 times in a row! I'm not giving up though!***
I decided it was time to start the potty training process with Jarrett last week. I took a break Saturday because we were out if the house most of the day. We've been back at it yesterday and today.
These are our new friends.
Jarrett has made a pretty good break through today. We have only had one accident all day. He doesn't tell me yet but on that one accident he caught himself and said "potty mommy".
I am super proud of him :)
This picture makes me laugh when I look at it. He drug his potty to be near me and decided some multitasking was in order!
We are not turning back now, I might be worn out before we are finished, but it really hasn't been that bad.
