February Birthdays and Non & Pop's house!

First up Jaxxi Mae's 2nd Birthday party. We had a Rootin' Tootin' good time at this round up!

Then my momma spoiled me with my favorite food for my Bday. Homemade noodles, dressing, baked beans, mashed potatoes, cole slaw, and cheese cake!

I guess that wasn't enough for these two! They had Rice Krispies at 11:30 Saturday night!

Sunday we rode the ponies.

Then celebrated Sawyer's 3rd and Bree's 7th Birthdays with some cake and ice cream!

Monday Pop whipped up Bacon and Eggs for breakfast. I think we mostly eat when we visit them!

This is their cat named Holly. The kids love her and she tolerates them well. They made her this bed before we left. Mom text me this picture today, I think Holly likes it!

She's the most spoiled out door cat ever!

3

Sweet, ornery Saucy Boy turns 3 today. My baby isn't a baby anymore!

He has the best smile and always a hint of mischief in his eyes.

Boys not afraid to rock pink gloves while playing in the snow either!

He's very into Mickey Mouse, Super Heros, Ninjago, and tractors.

When it comes to talking he says a lot, but I still have a hard time understanding him sometimes. He's very lazy with pronunciation and likes to shorten words. I'm sure that will get better soon.

Turning 3 has seemed to spark a little mean steak in him. He loves to torment his Bub and Sis. He's very good at snatch and run, ya know take Sis Barbie and run as fast as you can while she's screaming to bring it back. Lots if fun I tell ya!

Even with his orneriness he's a very sweet boy, gives the best kisses, and I'm excited to see what new things he learns over the next year. We love ya Sawyer, Happy Birthday to you little man!

December 2012

This was a pretty special month for our family. This girl officially became my Niece on December 19!

We also:
-looked at lights, rode the train, and visited Santa at Crystal Beach.
- went to the Christmas parade in Woodward with great friends.
- made ginger bread houses.
- attended Jarrett's school Christmas program.
- attended Bree's Christmas program.
- and Scott and I got a night out for his Company Christmas party.

Then the presents!
Top our house, middle with my side of the family, bottom with Scott's side of the family.

November 2012

After much whining, injuries, just not wanting to, Michelle and I finished our 2nd marathon. It wasn't pretty, but I had much fun and made lots of memories with Michelle! And actually we took the detour, so we are officially Ultra runners! 26.5 miles!

Thanksgiving week the Eastep side got together for family pictures. It was so cold that morning. I think we hold the fastest picture taking session record! Think we were done in 15 minutes.

We did a little house hunting Thanksgiving week but didn't find much. Waiting for ours to sale still anyway.

October 2012

I have been neglecting my blog so I'm going to play catch up!
October was a fun month. We went to Paden on Fall Break.

Sawyer and I hung out with Jaxxi and Ashley. We shopped, ate, and played at the park.

Bree and Jarrett went to Branson with Non and Pop. They had so much fun! Silver Dollar City was a big hit!

Halloween is always a fun part of October. This year I trick or treated with an OU cheerleader, Tow Mater, and Spider-Man!

The kids also had their first dentist visits this year. Yes I know Bree is 6, I procrastinate. And I'm glad because up until now I wouldn't have got her in that chair. Jarrett and Bree got good reports no cavities. Sawyer, however, had 1 small cavity.

It was interesting taking all 3 at once all by myself. Probably wont do that again.
Also this month Scott got a promotion at work, but it was also a transfer so we will be moving as soon as our house sales Woodward.

Tongue Tied No More

Jarrett was born tongue tied (tight frenulum). I've asked about getting it fixed several times the past few years, but always told let's wait and see if it stretches on its own. At his 4 year old appointment I insisted we get referred to an ENT to get it fixed. Poor guy couldn't lick his lips or an ice cream cone. I was also worried about his speech.

So today was the day. We went to OKC yesterday afternoon to stay the night. Jare had to be at the surgery center by 6:30 am.

Here are Scott and Bree while we wait.

Jare and I snuggling before the feel good medicine they gave him.

A little bit of a daze after the meds.

The surgery went well. The nurses all told us how sweet he is. He fooled them that's for sure!
As we were leaving Jare said "I just want my tongue to feel normal." It was numbed up pretty good.

My mom and dad came to the surgery to give Sawyer back to us. He'd been with them since Friday. I missed him so much!

Jarrett sacked out on the way home. Poor guy was so brave today!

Our only challenge so far is finding him food that doesn't "hurt". He's in a growth spurt I think and always starving. Hoping he's back to normal tomorrow.

We will probably get to do this all over again with Sawyer when he turns 4! Still trying to figure out why my boys were born tongue tied but not Bree!

Yeehaw??!!??!!??

We went to Paden for Labor Day/My Parents moving weekend.

I slept with these two munchkins. Or didn't sleep. Whichever!

Last time we visited my Pa told Breeana next time we came he'd take her and the boys to get cowboy boots. She doesn't forget so we loaded up and went shopping Saturday. Boots led to wranglers, wranglers led to belts, belts led to shirts, and shirts led to hats! They sure are cute though! Was absolutely too hot for their jeans!

My pa, parents, and Ashley's mom have bought little ponies for all the kids. Jarrett rode, Duke first, he's pictured below with Bree. Then he rode Trigger a little bigger pony that Ashleys aunt and uncle brought down along with a few others. He rode them all then said I need on that one. It was a big quater horse! He's crazy, but we let him ride! Thats my brother behind the horse.

Here is Bree in Duke. He was just broke and doesn't go very well. He's Jaxxi's horse. Bree always said she wouldn't ride, but I think the boots worked some magic. She rode Trigger all by herself forever and even trotted him!

Mr. Saw took his turn as well.

That's him in the background. The little horse with my dad is Scoot. He's the youngest. They rode him to, but he has to be led around. He's my favorite and so cute!

I can't wait until our week in Paden for Thanksgiving so the kids can ride and ride. I think this non cowboy momma is gonna have to learn to ride a horse :)
