Bunkbeds

According to my children the top bunk is only for playing on not sleeping.

They love the stairs.

The bottom makes a good spot for watching a movie,

sleeping 3 children,

or just two.

Jarrett debated sleeping on too tonight and quickly changed his mind. He says its scary up there. I don't care where they sleep as long as they are not I'm bed with me!

$70 in about 20 min

That would be how much we spent at the Carnival in town this weekend! Next time I'll buy the wrist bands, I just wasn't sure if Jarrett and Sawyer would ride or not. They have issues with loud noises. Momma was wrong!!! They absolutely loved it and we had to drag Sawyer to the van when we were done.

So what does $70 buy?

60 tickets, I started with 30 and they were gone after 3 rides so I went back for more. They rode the 4 wheelers, airplanes, boat, ferris wheel, motorcycles, and Bree and Jarrett did a funhouse thing while Saw and I bought a funnel cake and drink. The funnel cake and drink cost $10, ouch! Man I shoulda bought the bracelets, I woulda spent $85 total but they could have rode unlimited. Lesson learned!

My kiddos had fun so I'm happy. I'm thinking carnivals make good money!

Setting Sail

On a 7 day cruise! About a year and a half ago Robin and I had a thought to take a girl's trip just she and I. However, our hubbies quickly vetoed all our plans! Then she texted me one day and said Jerald said why not we go cruising us and our hubbies. Scott said sure so we booked the cruise! So we headed for Galvaston May 5th.

And set sail May 6th!!

Our first two days were spent just relaxing and eating and relaxing and eating!

Robin and I laid out during the afternoon and the guys rested on their balconies.
Jamaica was our first port! It wasn't my favorite place but I'd like to go again and see more. We went to Chukka and rode dune buggies through a 2000 acre sugar cane ranch.

This was before. After we were covered in mud!

Next up Grand Cayman. Loved it there! We Snorkeled on a sandbar home to stingrays. It was pretty but I'm not a fan of the stingray!

I have more pics on a water camera that need developed. After the stingrays we visited a sea turtle farm. That was fun!

We got to hold several turtles, see some massive ones, and even snorkel with some.
Third stop Cozumel. Loved this stop as well. Would love to go back and do my own thing instead of a carnival excursion. Was still fun. We visited some Mayan ruins and learned of their culture. Good news our guide 3/4 Mayan says the world will not end Dec 21 2012!

After that we just relaxed on the beach!

I had so much fun with Scott and our friends. We plan to go again in a few years with them and their boys, might even become an every other year tradition! We will see!
Oh and I loved getting back home to my little munchkins! They say the missed me but I'm not sure, non and pop spoiled them!

My helper

Jarrett is the man of the house when his daddy is gone for work. His daddy told him so. Jare tells me its because he is "fwong" (strong) that daddy chose him.

Being the man of the house means he is mommas helpers. Today he used his muscles and helped me plant and water flowers. Sawyer mostly made messes, you can see him in the background.

Speaking of Sawyer I think we are a week into potty training and I'm hoping I can say we have success. No accidents at all today #1 or #2!! I can thank big brother Jare for helping me teach him to use the potty!

Now is Jare can help me figure out how to get rid of the binky!
