School Week 2

Monday:

This weeks color is RED! Just happens to be Bree's favorite color! We got a packet today telling everything that will be learned in September. Should be fun :)

Tuesday:

Stoplights were the topic I think. Bree says she had no trouble making these because she already knows about them! Not sure why my picture is upside down but I'm not retaking it!

Wednesday:

Going in this morning...she's so grown up with her backpack! She was ready to go this morning. She says they had a fire drill today and had to go watch a movie in another classroom because theirs was to hot.

Thursday:

Bree was so excited when she got in the car. She wanted to dig through her backpack immediately, usually she just throws it at me. I soon found out it was because the Firemen, Policemen, and EMTs had visited them at school and gave them lots of goodies! She told me all about it all the way to Seiling. I drove her and dad there to meet my mom and they headed to Paden to see Nane and Ash. The boys and I were supposed to go too, but as usual Scott's work schedule got changed so my plans did to.

Friday:

Yes, Bree skipped school today to go with my mom and dad!

School Week 1

Monday:

Bree says she talked to Breelee today. She also came home singing "little pumpkin (where is thumbkin), little pumpkin (where is thumbkin), here I am, here I am." Too Funny :)

Tuesday:

Bree came home singing y-e-l-l-o-w spells yellow. There was a paper for a cheer clinic this Saturday in her bag. She wants to go and is so excited. We also went and enrolled her in dance tonight. Life is going to get busy!

Wednesday:

Bree was upset today, she got her feeling hurt. She's already over it and teaching her brother "The Wheels on the Bus"!

Thursday:

Came home singing "Head,Shoulders,Knees, and Toes" I've only been trying to get her to sing that song forever!!

Friday:

Bree asked this morning, "Do I get to sleep in tomorrow mom!"

When I picked her up "no school tomorrow, YAY!"

Thought this was cute.

Bree is in the Greenish bluish shirt.

First full week went great. She is worn out though! Hopefully she continues to enjoy school and want to go!

First Day of School

Bree started Pre-K today. After a long bedtime battle she woke is a great mood this morning ready to go! She would not eat breakfast so we will see how that goes. She has never wanted to eat first thing in the morning, she did drink some milk though. My big girl got up dressed herself, brushed her teeth, and grabbed her backpack ready to go. She was mad we couldn't leave at 7:15.

Acting goofy for her daddy. He got to be here to help get her ready, but had to leave about 10 minutes before us to go to work. I think Bree liked having him home this morning, it rare!
Of course we had to work on our modeling poses since we had a new outfit on and all!

I really like this picture just wish Saw hadn't been in my arms so it would be more centered. Hard to take pictures with a squirmy 6 month old in one arm :)

Her backpack was huge. I forgot to take her school supplies with us to meet the teacher. It looks heavy but the bulkiness is Kleenex so it wasn't.
Drop off was crazy!!!! Bree was asking me the whole time why is this taking so long I wanna get out. I chose to drop her off after talking with Amanda instead of take her in. I think it was best I could see her walk down the hall and receive a big hug from Mrs. Gartrell. I shed a few tears but they weren't out of sadness. I was so proud of how big she acted and that she showed no fear for once. I know she will have a great day and I can't wait to hear all about it when she gets home!

Meet Your Teacher

Bree will be in Mrs. Gartrell's class! YAY!

We went to meet her and see the classroom tonight. Bree's friend Maci is in her class. They are going to have so much fun!

She looks all grown up in these pictures!

I think her daddy is taking his little girl starting school harder than anyone. He had to fight back a few tears tonight, so sweet! I'm so excited for her to learn, be with friends, and just have a great first year of school!
