Little Things

Little things around my house have made me smile today.

Paw and little foot prints on my wood floor from the kids and Dozer running in and out.

Sawyers chalk hand print on the front door.

Little chalk foot prints headed to the bathtub.

Chalk and chalk art on the front porch.

Bree's writing I found scratched into my entry table.

Toothpaste in the kids sink.

My new paint color in my living room!

While lost of these require that I clean up the messes, I smile because they mean I have 3 happy kids making those messes and Dozer helping them make them! As far as the writing on my table. It's a metal table so it's there to stay. I did ask that she not do that again and who Gavin was. She got all mad at me, think she may have her first crush!

And my wall....I love it!! Still have a few more decorating finishing touched to get my living room how I want it. But I'm happy for now!

Sickness be gone!

Sawyer had a rough night Sunday , which means mommy did too. Turns out he has RSV and an ear infection. I find it funny how the coughing doesn't get bad until bedtime! He lasted less than 30 minutes in his crib last night then needed momma.

I ended up sleeping with him in Jarrett's little twin bed. Was either that or get up and rock him every 10 minutes. We finally fell asleep good (no moaning, coughing, crying, searching for binky's) around 4 am. My alarm went off at 6:45.

Hoping tonight is better. I have to call doctor back again today and ask for different antibiotic. Amox/Clav send him hurling about 30 min to and hour after taking in. We are not doing that twice a day for the next 9 days!

Breeana began getting sick around 12 yesterday. She was fine bouncing off walls as usual the fever struck followed by complaints of sore throat, headache, body aches. We made it through the night alternating meds to keep the fever at bay. She's pretty pitiful when sick and a mere fever of 99.5 has her down for the count!

Today Dr. K ruled out the flu with a nasal swan that brought my sweet girl to tears. She's very sensitive!

While we waited in the exam room for Dr. K Bree was a basket case. Here are a few photos I snapped all in about 30 secs

She's a mess and it was her choice to sit up there while we waited! I'm hoping she's all better and can go back to school on Wednesday and that they boys don't end up with her sickness.
