Happy 1st Birthday Jarrett!

Happy 1st Birthday my Lil' JareBear!!! I cannot believe it has been a whole year since you came into our lives. The first weeks of your life were a little challenging for me. You cried all of your waking hours. Thank goodness you liked your sleep so I got a some down time. After a formula change at 8 weeks you have been a breeze. Your are so laid back, and loving. However, you do like people to be in the same room with you, but you come by that honestly! I love you so much and am so thankful for every minute I get to spend with you!

What are you doing and some of your favorite things at 1 year old?

• Starting to walk, but still a little wobbly.
• 6 teeth, 4 on top, 2 on bottom.
• You have had 10 haircuts.
• Make the cutest little fish face.
• Grunt when you see Bananas, they are your favorite.
• You can say, Mama, baba, dada, Nana, Mo mo (more), Bye-bye, and you are very good at grunting, and pointing.
• Love the swimming pool and Sandbox
• Trying to climb.
• Eat almost anything put in front of you and love almost all food.
• Give the best kisses.
• Like to push cars and make engine noises.
• Like to give your sister a hard time, and are starting to hold your own with her!

I can't wait to see what new things you discover in the next year! Love you Baby Boy!!!

JARRETT'S 1ST BIRTHDAY "PARTY"

My BABY BOY turns 1 next Friday. We had his party today. He had lots of fun with all his family here with him!

We had a construction party. Our gift to Jarrett was a sand box built by his daddy! We thought the rain was going to ruin our plans for an outdoor party, but it let up and the sun shined just enough to dry the ground and warm it up so we could do a little swimming. I think Jarrett had lots of fun, he enjoyed the EATING part the most!

Today Graydon came over so Brandy could help out taking kids from our church to the pool. We played outside for a little while.

Me: come here let me paint your fingers ( it's the no bite nail polish)

Bree: I don't want that yucky stuff, I like to suck my fingers.

Me: come here let me paint your fingers

Bree: crying hysterically.

Me: come let me paint your fingers (slight impatience in my voice)

Bree: more crying now flopping in floor

Me: come let me paint them or I'm going to spank your bobo. (just slightly irritated)

Bree: ok you spank my bobo then I'll suck my fingers...

Me: trying not to let her see me laugh!!

I did finally when the battle and get the yucky stuff on her fingers. I let her have a 2nd cup of milk as a peace offering to which she says "I suck my fingers and wash the yucky stuff out of my mouth with my milk?!?!"

I don't know what to do :)
