Bree's Aunt Ashewaly!!!

Breeana has been quite attached to her ent ashewaly (that is how Bree would say it) over the past week. I am not sure why, but when she decides she likes someone can't get enough of them, when she doesn't like them she ignores them (this would be Shane most of the time!), and her mind can change at any given moment. As for now her aunt is in her good graces and is probably her favorite person on earth at this very moment. I think it's because Ashley will do just about anything Bree wants her to do and well I won't! Here is a little bit of what they were up to tonight. My Little Drama Queen!!!!

This morning Breeana woke up feeling much better. Except for the small fact that she made me carry her from the bed to the couch, because her legs have owies! (She ended up with owies on both legs, because the first time the nurse tried to give her a shot Bree pulled the needle our and scraped her leg and then got the shot in the other leg.) She is cracking me up! She keeps asking me to bring her toys and I tell her to get up and get it and she looks at me with a pitiful face and says "Can't mommy owies." I have assured her that her legs are fine and she can walk, but she still has not attempted leaving her post on the couch! I hope this doesn't last all day and I hope when this boy gets here he is tougher that she is!!!!!!!!

UPDATE:

We went to see Doc Evans today, Bree has a double ear infection, he said they looked pretty bad. He also said that all the drainage was causing the coughing spells. Anyway she got a shot, and hopefully is on the way to recovery. Thanks for your prayers!


I am not sure why my daughter can't seem to get well!!!! It is becoming very frustrating and tiring for me and her as well. She started with the fever again last night and is coughing, coughing, coughing. She is on antibiotic so I am not sure why this is happening nor is the nurse, needless to say she has an appointment with Dr. Evans tomorrow at 1 pm to see what is going on and why the antibiotic is not doing its job. If you read this please lift her up in prayer she has been sick more than well the past 2 months and I know she is tired of it, but I can only do so much and at this point I don't know what to do! Thanks in advance for your prayers! At least she got a break to enjoy Easter!

Easter 2008!!

This Easter weekend started off a little rocky. I thought Bree was going to be sick the whole time, but we got medicine and she was feeling much better by Friday night. She and her cousin Kimmy got to hunt for eggs at FBC Glenpool on Saturday and again at Papa-guy and Meemaw's on Sunday afternoon. She had so much fun gathering eggs and eating the suprises she found inside. We attended church at my old church on Sunday and got to see several people agian for the first time in a while. Breeana had so much fun in her Sunday School class and they didn't want to let her leave. I had fun but am so glad to be home!

I spoke to soon....

A mere few hours after my last post about not being sick for the first time in a month, Breeana decided to get a 103 fever. After making several calls to doctors in and around Woodward and being told "We can't help you for 2 weeks" or "We can't help you until Monday" I resorted to bringing her to Tulsa to our old pediatrician, who got us in at 11 am this morning with not questions asked. Anyway, she has some throat issue (not strep) and he gave her an antibiotic. Well when I got to the TARGET pharmacy, they didn't have the prescription in stock, nor did another Target, Medicap, Walgreens, etc. etc. etc. So I have to wait until in the morning to get the medicine for her. Let me just tell ya I am not having much fun, and the past 24 hours have be extremely frustrating. So that is pretty much all I have for now! However I am thankful for the doctor we got to see and family who helped me get to Tulsa!

Not much new here....

Not much going on here. Which I am happy for, NO SICKNESS for the first time in a month!!!! (keeping my fingers crossed). Here are some pictures from the past couple days.

That about wraps it up. I have been attempting the potty training this week. She has always been interested in the potty. Now that I am trying to take her every 30 minutes or so she throws a fit about it. She still has not actually gone in the potty...any advice???? I will take any available, I am not sure what to do.

Guitar Hero In Training....

I was giving Bree a bath tonight and she heard her daddy playing guitar hero. She looked at me and said, "Daddy Guitar?" So after I got her out of the tub and dressed I found our extra guitar for her to see what she would do....her are the pictures of her jamming with her daddy!

Happy Birthday Dad (3/7), Mom (3/9), and James (3/8), hope you all had fun on your special days!

Shane is finally home (he has been at Ashley's dads in Tulsa) and on the road to recovery. I saw him today, he is walking around like and old man!!! Breeana is scared of him right now. She says "you scare me Shane!" I think she just likes giving him a hard time! Not to mention she is sick again for the 3rd time in less than a month. She is back on breathing treatments for her cough, but she is getting better...thank goodness... I feel like I haven't slept since Monday.

Hopefully this week will hold no surprises, I am not sure what else my brother could get himself into!

Update on My Brother

Shane had surgery tonight. His appendix was definitely inflamed, they removed it and said the problem should be solved. He gets to leave the hospital tonight, not sure where they are staying, either with Ashley's dad or drive to Paden to stay at my Nan's. Thanks to everyone for your concern and prayers!

Camera Shy

Breeana used to be a great picture taker, she loved the camera. Lately, however, every time she sees the camera she either ducks her head, runs, or both. So it is great fun trying to get a decent picture of her. Here are a few of her latest.
