Mr. Saw found his fist recently. He tries and tries to shove the whole thing in his mouth, but has yet to succeed. It's pretty cute to watch though. He is starting to interact more and has been "talking" quite a bit lately. He still hasn't rolled over, but he can scoot all over his bed, I never know which end I will find him on! I have decided for now his nickname is Spike. His hair is so crazy, it sticks straight up all the time. I have debated cutting it, but I just love it so much, and we get lots of compliments on his hair. Can't believe he will be 3 months old in 2 days!

Leonardo's Children's Museum
Today, Brandy, Graydon, the kid's -1 and I took a trip to Leonardo's in Enid. We had so much fun! There were a couple classes there for field trips so it was pretty crowded at first but when they all gathered to go to the outside part of the museum we had the entire inside pretty much to ourselves.
The kids shopped for and cooked dinner.

Played with the train table, don't ya love Graydon's boots in this picture! He got lots of compliments.
I think Bree and Graydon were fishing in this picture, but I am not sure.
They have an art room, and Bree to time to paint for about 10 seconds before she moved on to better things I guess.
They liked the sand table. Jarrett mostly wanted to throw the sand on the floor, but I was able to persuade him to use the shovel and sand wheels they had instead.
Have you ever seen any astronauts cuter than these too? They had a "blast" in this part of the museum.

Breeana wanted to be the "mean" guy aka alien. Graydon and Jarrett were a little too short for this, Graydon did manage to knock the whole thing over though!
I think my favorite part is the music area. They have xylophones, and a couple other noise makers. I think the xylophones where they kids favorite because they got to hit something. Jarrett really liked them.
We locked them in the tot area for a little bit so Brandy and I could take a little rest. It has a small ball pit, soft climby blocks, bead toys, etc. Jarrett just wanted to open and shut the gate. They didn't stay long. They really enjoyed just being free to roam and touch whatever they wanted because everything in kid friendly.
By far the highlight of the day was the huge wooden play area outside. I didn't get any pictures of it, was busy chasing my fearless boy all through it. It has stairs, rope courses, swinging bridges, etc. It is huge. They also have a tot area with some swings, sand pit, and these dinosaurs to climb on. Jarrett had fun climbing on them.
After we left the museum we had a fun lunch at chili's, and made quick stops at Old Navy, and Hobby Lobby.

A little Graydon funny. On the way home Brandy says "Hey G, tell Mrs. Tisha about the cat." He thinks a minute and this says, "Mrs. Tisha, about the cat" and then continues whatever he and Bree were up to in the back seat. He is so funny!
This little cutie stayed all night with his Nonny and then got some one on one time with her today. When I went to get him I picked him up and tried to talk to him and he wouldn't look at me. If I turned him toward my face he would cut his eyes the other way. I think he was mad at me for leaving him!

Tonight was the first Tornado Warning of the season for Woodward. I am thankful our neighbors have a basement and have told us we can come over when we need to. We took shelter there this evening when the sirens blew. I really don't like Tornado season and I am ready for it to be over!

Self Portrait??
Breeana loves to play with my Iphone. She has games and listens to her Taylor Swift songs on it. Anyway, I was uploading pictures from my phone the other day, and I found several that she had taken of herself. She comes by it honestly, she has watched her Aunt Ash take pictures of herself, or herself and bree for the past 4 years. She is just acting like her I guess!

Happy Mother's Day!
Today is Mother's day, I am blessed to have 3 wonderful children who call me Mommy! Breeana, Jarrett, and Sawyer make me feel special everyday with their hugs, kisses, and snuggles.
I am thankful for my Mom who helped mold me into the Mother I am to my children. I find myself becoming more and more like her everyday, and I am absolutely okay with that. I really don't know what I would do without my mom, she's my friend, my "personal trainer" (she makes me walk almost everyday sometimes farther than I want to), a wonderful Nonny to my children, would do anything I ask her to do for me, and I love her so much.
I am also thankful for my Mom-n-law Janice, she is a pretty special lady herself! She makes me feel like I have always been apart of their family, she's a great Mema to my kiddos, and I love her very much.

Cake for Daddy!
Today is Scott's 31 Birthday. Breeana has been really excited about his birthday all week and insisted we make him a birthday cake. She wanted it to be a rainbow cake and have a picture of her on it. We went to walmart to get a mix and icing etc. She picked out candy footballs, red icing, and squiggle candles.
We had to make 4 different colors of batter to make a rainbow cake. Really you are supposed to make all the colors of the rainbow, make a separate round cake out of each color, freeze each cake and then stack them in Roy B Giv order. I really don't have time for that so we improvised.

Jarrett only got to help with mixing the cake. I tried to let him help decorate, but the second I turned my back on him he stuck his little hand in the cake I had just iced and smeared it. So I sent him on his way out of the kitchen, he really didn't care anyway. Breeana put the footballs on then proceeded to boss me on what to write and where to put dots of icing. She finished the cakes of with red sprinkles and candles.
She was very proud of her cakes she made and enjoyed eating them more than she did making them. I am sure this will become a yearly tradition. If only she knew how much her mommy disliked cake making!!!
Happy Birthday to my wonderful Hubby!

Show us you life - Children's Names
So I decided today that I would participate in Show Us Your Life Friday from over at KellysKorner. Today was Kid's names: What they are and how you decided on them. So here goes.
Before I was pregnant with Bree I had several girl names that I loved. However, after finding out that she was a girl and that she was due on my Mom's birthday, I really wanted to somehow name her after my mom. My mom's name is Brenda Jean, so My husband and I both really like the name Breeana. It also happened that the meaning of the names is Perfect Gift From God. Which she so was after trying to conceive for 4 years.
When we got pregnant with this little guy really didn't have names picked out for a girl or a boy.
We knew he would have daddy's name, Scott, for his middle name, but that was about it. I looked through some books and then one day I just thought of Jarrett. It was perfect since Scott's dad is James and my dad is Brett, it combined their names together.
An easy explanation of his name would be to say we named him after the character James Sawyer from one of our favorite TV shows LOST. But, that wouldn't be the truth, I didn't even realized I had done that until I posted his name on facebook and someone pointed it out to me!
James is after Scott's dad. We want to somehow incorporate family names into all of our kid's names and well we are limited in names I like. My dad is Howard Brett, Scott's dads middle name is Harry, my grandpa Jim Newton, my great grandpa Clearance Newton. I wasn't liking any of those. I can't remember Scott grandpa's names but I asked his mom and dad and they were equally as interesting. I wanted his first name to start with an S because then his initials would be opposite his brothers. Sawyer was about the only S name I could get Scott to agree with me on!
We are still unsure if we want more children in the future but if we decide to and happen to have a girl I would like her name to be Josie (just cause I like it) Nell (after my grandma Cora Nell). Not sure on boy names :)

Sand is not my friend!
Breeana and Jarrett decided to play in their sandbox today. That was fine, but then they started putting it on their heads, laying in it, I think Jare even ate some. They were covered from head to toe. Jarrett got the worst of it. He had a sand mustache, his ears were full of it, it was in his diaper, etc. I had to bathe them before Jarrett could take his nap. I am rethinking the whole idea of having a sandbox at the moment:)

Marvelous Monday
It's beautiful outside today. We enjoyed some time outside this morning and plan to go back out after nap/rest time. Scott went back to work today, we are thankful he has work this week, but we are missing him too. He helped me so much entertaining Bree and Jarrett last week.
Here are some pictures I took today of my cuties. Enjoy, Sawyer thinks it is time for a bottle, gotta go :)

First Family of Five Picture
I have been sifting through digital photos to find pictures for my aunt and I realized that I do not take enough pictures of myself and Scott with our kids. I really really don't like my picture taken because I am very self conscious, but I am just going to get over that because I don't want my kids to look back and wonder where Scott and I were. Here is a pic I had my mom take today of the five of us. I am a little behind Sawyer is 2 1/2 months and this is our first family picture with him in it.
