Jarrett's On The Move

So I have never been a fan of baby gates, nor is my house all that baby proof. Bree was/is such a good listener (most of the time) has never been really nosey about MY stuff, doesn't get into cabinets, and really just likes to play with her stuff . And then there is Jarrett. This week he has discovered the kitchen and bathroom. He tries to follow me everywhere. Maybe Bree didn't do this b/c she didn't even crawl until she was 9 months and then she was content to stay in one room. Anyway, I think I am going to have to invest in a couple of gates to block off my kitchen from my curious little boy.

Here are some pics of him this morning. He crawled under his toy and then let out a huge "LOOK AT ME MOM" squeal and was all smiles. When I got my phone out to take a pic he decided he needed it and came crawling toward me.

HE IS ORNERY!!!!!! But I love HIM!!!!

6 Month Well Baby Visit

I took Jarrett this morning for his 6 Month well baby visit. He is really 6 1/2 Months we are a couple weeks off. Anyway, here are his stats.

Weight: 18.7 lbs, 75%
Height: 27 in, 70%
Head: 50% (I don't remember exact measurement)

Just for fun here are Bree's stats at the exact same age.

Weight: 18.6 lbs
Height: 28 in
Head: 50% again can't remember and didn't write down measurement.

They are pretty close in size. He is losing some of his rolls already cause he is army crawling everywhere (he followed me down the hall this morning) and is into everything. Bree was content to sit and play at his age. So he looks smaller that she did to me at this age.

He has a rash on his tummy and back that I noticed last night after church. The doc said it was probably contact dermatitis or an allergic reaction of some sort. I can't think of anything that would have caused it, but oh well, he said it should go away in a couple days and use cortisone cream.

I am working on changing my blog background and header. This is not the background I am keeping, I just have to quit for now b/c Jarrett thinks he needs me!!!

Jarrett 6 1/2 Months

I think these will do for 6 Month Pics. I am going to order prints tomorrow. We will see how they turn out! I guess I don't take him outside enough. He was so distracted my grass, dirt, everything, he would not smile for me at all, he wanted to take off and explore and get dirty!!!

From My Iphone Camera

Okay these are just a bunch of pics I have captured with my spiffy IPhone. I find myself using it to take pics more than my camera. I guess as my mom and aunts would say I am always messing with it so it is easier to locate than my camera at any giving time as it is usually in my hand! The pics are in no particular order so I will just put captions above them to explain if necessary.

This is "Handy Breezy" I had to sing the Handy Manny song with her name in it. She decided my swifter wet jet was "broken" and she needed to fix it, but that couldn't be done with out work clothes like daddy and work boots like Nane!

GIRLS NIGHT!!!!!!

Ashley and I are having a girls night tonight and I am so ready. My mom is keeping the kids and we are going to see Bride Wars at the lovely Woodward Theatre. I believe mom is going to keep the kiddos all night, unless Bree does her throw a fit I need to go home routine, and I am going to SLEEP IN in the morning!!!! YEAH!

Also today I am going to attempt to take Jarrett's 6 month pictures with the assistance of my mom. I am tired of paying high prices at the walmart portrait studio, b/c when I go I have to do all the posing and have ideas cause all the little person does is point and click. And I DO NOT want to drive to Sears in Enid. So wish me luck, should be interesting, maybe I'll put them up on my blog tomorrow.

"Be careful Daddy"

Breeana got in bed with me on Monday morning when Scott got up to get ready for work. When he came to kiss us good bye and Bree said, "Be careful daddy it's dark out there." Then she rolled over and went back to sleep. She is so caring and compassionate, I am not sure where she gets it from, I guess my mom!
