"Bambaids"

Breeana has a little obsession with "bambaids" as she calls them. She likes to put them on my legs because she says I have owies. Well yesterday she wanted to put bambaids on daddy. Well Scott doesn't like this because of the hair on his legs, he says it is pointless pain. So she decided his feet had owies. She would go through a whole box of bambaids if I would let her, but I limit her to 4 bambaids a day!!!! Here are some pics of her playing doctor with daddy...

Planting Flowers

We decided to work on our flowerbed today. We are not doing a lot to it considering we live in a rent house, however we wanted it to look somewhat nice. Bree helped her daddy out quite a bit, she loves dirt, she does NOT get that from me!

Scott handled the mulching and Bree and I planted a few flowers in pots, she mostly liked watering them, hopefully she didn't drown them!

She took a little break from all the hard work to jump on her trampoline, and then she called it quits and wanted to go in and watch Mickey Mouse. I am very proud of her she was in "big girl panties" all day and only had 1 accident. We even went to Wal-Mart and Atwoods and she napped for 2 hours accident free :) Maybe she's got the hang of the potty thing!

Success!!!!

Breeana finally pee peed in the potty!!! Today she has been running around diaperless (with pants on of course, Rhett and Hollace are here) and I have been asking her if she needs to go potty. Well, after a couple hours she said "diaper change, diaper change" which when translated means, "I need to potty and want to go in a diaper." So after a little encouragement, okay just making her, she sat on the potty and Wallah!!! I know it is just the first step, but we have been trying to reach this milestone for a couple of months now, so I am very excited. I am sure there will be set backs, and I know this doesn't mean she is "potty trained" but it is a step, and my baby is not so much a baby anymore. Now if we could just lose the binky!:)

Ryan Wayne Copeland is Here!

My nephew was born today!!! I got a message around 12 letting me know he was here, weighing in at 7lbs. 4oz. If only I could have small babies!!! I haven't got to talk to anyone yet as I was in the middle of fixing lunch for 3 hungry children. I probably will not get to talk to anyone until later today when Rhett and Hollace go home, because I am a constant referee around here and if I get on the phone, well, all heck breaks loose!! I am just hoping someone thinks to send me a picture of him, b/c I don't get to see him until May 2nd :(

This is a pic of one of today's peaceful moments, they have been few to many today, I guess it is the warm weather making everyone a little stir crazy! The next pic is of Bree being mad at me b/c I wouldn't let her go inside...we stayed outside extra long, b/c something about being inside makes Bree and Rhett scuffle a little too much. They leave each other alone when we are outside!

I guess that is all for now, back to being a referee!!!! I guess this is what my life will be like on a daily basis once the little man arrives!

Watching Uncle Nane!!!

Shane came over to mow my yard today. Breeana wanted to watch him so I raised the blinds and opened the front door. Well I left the room and she followed me, but then she said "I be right back Mommy," (her new favorite saying). I came back to the living room and found the following...


She decided to climb the couch and perched herself on the window seal to make sure Nane was doing his job. He took a little break to make faces with her through the window!

Odds and Ends!

Well, life is pretty uneventful at the moment. Still waiting on a call to say my nephew has arrived!!! I talked to my sister-n-law via email yesterday and she said still no labor, the doctor told her she should have him over the weekend, guess he was wrong. So I am still waiting!! This is a picture I took of Bree and Ashley this weekend during one of our late night's playing our new fav, Farkel! There were many more interesting photos and a video, but I am going to let Ash post about that!!!


I was cooking last night and Bree had been begging me to bring her "cycle" in, so we made daddy go get it. She came around the corner and said "look at me mommy" and this is what I saw...


She is too cute! Although I am a little bias, but I think her aunt's, uncle's, and grandparents are going to agree with me 100%!!!

I have a doctors appointment in the morning, I am dreading it not only b/c of the glucose screening, but because I have to get on the almighty scales again, I feel like I have gained 100 lbs. since last visit LOL!!! Hopefully not, but we shall see!!!!

Coloring!!!!

Okay Ashley I am posting stop leaving harassing comments on my page!!!!

Breeana and Hollace decided to color today. Coloring time is about the only time they really get along. Otherwise Bree is mad b/c Hollace is playing with all the toys, she is really going to have to get over her sharing issues. Rhett is pretty content in whatever he is doing and coloring doesn't last long with him. That's why he is not seen in any of the pics I took today while they were in the floor coloring. All in all they get along pretty well.

Concentrating very hard, she says she was drawing the moon, can you see it???!!

They decided to trace their feet...very interesting!

On a different note Scott's sister says my new nephew should be making his arrival any day now, I know how that goes though, my doc told me that with Bree for 2 weeks, so we shall see! I can't wait to meet him!

Scott and I are debating on finishing up the painting this weekend while Bree is staying at Nonny's. Wish us luck!!

Painting!!!

Ashley and I began the task of painting my house a couple a months ago. Up until yesterday we had conquered Bree's room, the babies room, my room, and the main bathroom. So mom decided we needed to get it finished. Yesterday we tackled the hall, entry, and living room. We decided that was enough for this week. Now all we have left is the kitchen and dining room!!! YEAH! Hopefully we can finish in the next couple weeks. Since Nonny was helping this time of course Bree got to help with she asked if she could "do the painting." Here are a couple pics. She was carrying her bucket everywhere and painting little spots on the wall.


She ruined her outfit, it was getting small anyway, and had paint in her hair and on her face, but she had lots of fun. After all the painting fun I was quite worn out, so Ashley offered to take Bree home with her to spend the night! I was so thankful! Anyway Bree came home this morning with her fingernails painted. She was so excited she made me look at them and even told the vacuum to look at her nails. The flash on my camera was not cooperating, but I think you can see the pink paint in this pic.
She wanted me to take a picture of her binky, I am not sure why, but I did it to make her happy! Hopefully she will give the binky up soon, it just makes mommies life so much easier sometimes to let her have it. I am hoping she will give it to baby brother when he comes!!!

Sandbox

Poppy and Nonny got Bree a sandbox! It is for their house which is really fine with me because that way the sand mess stays there and not in my house!!! I wasn't sure what she would think of it because she doesn't much like getting dirty, but she pretty much hopped right in. I think she played for about 2 1/2 hours with a small mac n cheese break!!! Thanks Poppy and Nonny!



She wouldn't wait for her Poppy she dug right in!

Kinda boring around here these days...

I haven't posted in a few days now. Not a lot going on around here these days. I am thankful that Bree is well for the time being. I am excited that Ashley's family is coming this weekend. Breeana hasn't seen her 2nd aunt Kassie is a while. She always likes Kassie which makes Ashley a little jealous. I think Bree knows that too! I am also glad that Shane is home, for Ashley's sake she was missing him a whole lot. I went to a scrapbook party at Kara's last night, I think it may have motivated me to drag my stuff out and try to get Bree's book caught up before the baby comes. Wish me luck, I think I only have a few layouts done for her the last being the day she was born, only 2 years worth of pics to scrap in 3 months if I accomplish my goal!!! I guess that is all for now. I hope something interesting happens this weekend so I will have something fun to post about. Hope everyone has a great weekend!!!

Brown/Armentrout Families - (a friend in Glenpool) lost their mother at the age of 70, funeral was today in Tulsa and burial tomorrow in Sentinel.

Jim and Crystal Brill- (a couple I know in Glenpool) lost their baby at 20 weeks, was their first pregnancy, they are Christians, but I think that would be very difficult to deal with even when you know who is in control.
